Hummels in line for shock move to German Champions

If Bayern Munich is successful in signing center-back Tah, who is valued at €40 million (£34 million/$43 million), Leverkusen may have to turn to Hummels. Experienced individuals with strong leadership qualities are especially desirable.
Two weeks after Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League final loss, news of Hummels’ departure from the team was made public. Rumors circulated that he had a falling out with coach Edin Terzic, who has since left the team. Mallorca was identified as the surprise suitor a few days later. Inter and AC Milan have reportedly expressed interest, according to Bild.

Throughout his career, Hummels has won Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund (2010–11, 2011–12) and Bayern Munich (2016–17, 2017–18, 2018–19), winning a league and cup double with each.
Given the current rumors of moves to the Saudi Pro League and the Major League Baseball, it appears Hummels will have options in the future. However, others have also suggested that the seasoned defender, who turns 36 in December, may decide to retire completely if he is unable to accept a suitable offer.
