West Ham about to close in the signing of Tomori

After failing in their attempt to sign former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, West Ham is considering a deal for AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori.

Last week, the Hammers, led by new manager Julen Lopetegui, had their shocking £15 million attempt to sign the Al-Ittihad player rejected. Although it’s believed that Kante, 33, is content in Saudi Arabia, he might be persuaded to return to the Premier League.

During his time at Real Madrid, Lopetegui reportedly desired to sign the midfield player, but a deal was never finalized.

After leaving Chelsea when his contract expired in the summer of 2023, Kante joined Al-Ittihad on a two-year contract worth £172 million. A prospective move to West Ham would terminate his time in Saudi Arabia.

Following his successful Serie A campaigns with the Rossoneri, Tomori, another former Blues star, is being considered by the London club for a transfer.
